As Executive Director of The Manufacturing Alliance of Western Wisconsin, Shirley brings more than 30 years of experience in human resources, training, and workforce development to her role. A long-time resident of the Chippewa Valley, she is deeply committed to strengthening connections between local families, students, educators, and manufacturers.

Throughout her career, she has partnered with organizations across both the private and public sectors to champion employee engagement, training, and workplace safety. Today, she channels that experience into creating meaningful opportunities for students and job seekers through youth apprenticeships, internships, and apprenticeships—building pathways that support both individual success and regional economic growth.

Passionate about fostering strong partnerships, Shirley believes in the power of collaboration between education and industry to inspire the next generation of skilled talent while supporting the needs of manufacturers across western Wisconsin.
