UW-Eau Claire named one of Forbes’ ‘Top Colleges’

Six Goldwater scholars in the past three years, a six-figure average income after 20 years in the workforce and a low debt load upon graduation has once again placed the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on a list of the top 500 colleges and universities in Forbes Magazine’s list of America’s top colleges.
In this year’s list, UW-Eau Claire is once more the top regional comprehensive university in the four-state Midwest area that includes Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois. In Wisconsin and Minnesota, only UW-Madison, Marquette University and the University of Minnesota Twin Cities rank higher.
